In a significant step towards sustainability and energy transition, Recap PV Solution S.L.U. has received a grant of 805,000 euros from the European Union. This funding, provided through the NextGenerationEU Fund under the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, has enabled the implementation of a self-consumption photovoltaic installation at the Navigator Tissue Ejea S.L. facility located in Ejea de los Caballeros.

This project aligns with the incentive program for self-consumption and energy storage using renewable sources, reflecting the European Union’s commitment to promoting clean and sustainable energy.

Technical Features of the Photovoltaic Installation

The photovoltaic installation, which is now operational, has the following technical specifications:

  • Panel capacity: 5,046 kWp
  • Inverter capacity: 5,300 kW
  • Estimated energy generation: 76 GWh/year

With a significant energy generation capacity, this installation is expected not only to meet the energy needs of Navigator Tissue Ejea S.L. but also to contribute to reducing the carbon footprint and promoting the use of renewable energy in the region.

Project Impact

The investment in this photovoltaic plant represents a crucial advancement in the adoption of green and sustainable technologies, promoting energy independence and economic resilience. This project not only reduces the reliance on fossil fuels but also fosters job creation and technological development in the renewable energy sector.

The initiative is a clear example of how European funds are being used to support projects that have a direct positive impact on local communities while contributing to the long-term climate goals of the European Union.

Commitment to the Future

The financial support from the European Union through the NextGenerationEU Fund is a testament to the commitment of European institutions to a more sustainable and resilient future. Such projects are essential for achieving an effective energy transition and ensuring that Europe remains at the forefront of the fight against climate change.

Recap PV Solution S.L.U. and Navigator Tissue Ejea S.L. continue to work towards sustainability, demonstrating that collaboration between the private sector and public funds can yield tangible and beneficial results for society and the environment.
